I have looked at Christmas: holly red Secret Santa: rich pudding-fed: Standing with my eyes shut, on tip toe I’ve stood hopefully under mistletoe. Now, like scrooge, I look at the season new I smile less and party with few And all the words of love now lie Mock silently, ruffle and die. I have looked at Christmas from both sides now From happy and sad and still somehow It’s not the season that I see It’s my own candied fantasy. But for you I wish the happy red show, Stockings filled with family galore; Soul food cooked in kitchens known And sleep that is sound in a bed at home. Because the spirit is not in wishing for ones self you see, And the dreams and the hopes are for your fantasy So I wish you this Christmas old love anew And silent wishes that will do come true.
Trip To Europe « Result #2 on Mar 13, 2009, 2:43am »
A beautiful young New York woman was so depressed that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the ocean. But just before she could throw herself from the docks, a handsome young sailor stopped her.
"You have so much to live for," said the sailor. "Look, I’m off to Europe tomorrow and I can stow you away on my ship. I’ll take care of you, bring you food every day, and keep you happy."
With nothing to lose, combined with the fact that she had always wanted to go to Europe, the woman accepted. That night the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a lifeboat. From then on, every night he would bring her three sandwiches and make love to her until dawn.
Three weeks later she was discovered by the captain during a routine inspection.
"What are you doing here?" asked the captain.
"I have an arrangement with one of the sailors," she replied. "He brings me food and I get a free trip to Europe. Plus he’s screwing me."
"He certainly is," replied the captain. "This is the Staten Island Ferry".

We tried so hard to make things better for our kids that we made them worse. For my grandchildren, I’d know better.
I’d really like for them to know about hand-me-down clothes and home-made ice cream and leftover meatloaf. I really would.
My cherished grandson, wow power leveling I hope you learn humility by surviving failure and that you learn to be honest even when no one is looking.
I hope you learn to make your bed and mow the lawn and wash the car -- and I hope nobody gives you a brand-new car when you are sixteen.
It will be good if at least one time you can see a baby calf born, and you have a good friend to be with you if you ever have to put your old dog to sleep.
I hope you get a black eye fighting for something you believe in.
I hope you have to share a bedroom with your younger brother.wow power leveling And it is all right to draw a line down the middle of the room, but when he wants to crawl under the covers with you because he’s scared, I hope you’ll let him.
And when you want to see a Disney movie and your kid brother wants to tag along, I hope you take him.
I hope you have to walk uphill with your friends and that you live in a town where you can do it safely.
If you want a slingshot, wow power leveling I hope your father teaches you how to make one instead of buying one. I hope you learn to dig in the dirt and read books, and when you learn to use computers, you also learn how to add and subtract in your head.
I hope you get razzed by friends when you have your first crush on a girl, and that when you talk back to your mother you learn what Ivory soap tastes like.
May you skin your knee climbing a mountain, wow gold burn your hand on the stove and stick your tongue on a frozen flagpole.
I hope you get sick when someone blows smoke in your face. I don’t care if you try beer once, but I hope you won’t like it.wow gold And if a friend offers you a joint or any drugs, I hope you are smart enough to realize that person is not your friend.
I sure hope you make time to sit on a porch with your grandpa or go fishing with your uncle.
I hope your mother punishes you when you throw a baseball through a neighbor’s window, wow gold and that she hugs you and kisses you when you give her a plaster of paris mold of your hand.
These things I wish for you -- tough times and disappointment, hard work and happiness.

I have been a cocker owner for 29 years and totally love them. My latest little boy came from a pet store in Colorado. Before I get blasted for buying puppies from a pet store, please take the time to consider that yes...this encourages puppy mill breeders, BUT...these puppies are already here. Not buying (or rescuing them) is NOT going to make them go away! They need help and love too. We believe that my little Buddy was a mill puppy. At pet store prices, he came complete with Round Worm, Tape Worm, Kennel Cough and a tumor. We had $1000 in medical into him in the first month we had him. Where this relates to your little Sweetie is, Buddy too is very anxious around people. He's ok to be around children, cautious of women...scared to death of men. And if a man has a hoodie or a hat on...FORGET IT! Buddies name changes to "Puddles" and he's GONE! How I am dealing with this problem is...I take him to work with me. He has my protection at all times and yet is exposed to different people all day long. If anyone wants to visit with him, they must get down to HIS level and I find this works very well. To him...SIZE MATTERS! Take your hat off...and make yourself small and non threatening. It takes a lot of time, we've been working on this for two years now, but things are improving. Doesn't it make you wonder what possess people to mistreat anything as innocent and defenseless as a small puppy? The damage they do can last a dog a lifetime.

I have a 9yr old cocker. Max has been a member of our family for 7 yrs. He is a good dog, dose not bark bit chew or dig. He just wants to be loved. I have had to move into a apartment and can not afford the $450. deposit. Max is his name he is a good boy but needs a cut and a bath. If someone could watch him for a month or two until I go back to work it would be a big help. I have 4 young kids to take care of. If you would want to adopt him to a good loving home I would consider it. I have a full bag of food. Please call asap I'm suppose to give them money today.Call Sam @ 480-502-9148. Phoenix AZ

I'll certainly watch for any cockers available for adoption in your area. Seems like they are far and few between where you are, but every once in a while, I see one up there. HEY!! My brother, the webmaster for our website, lives in Wasilla!

Hello, I'm new to te list. My last rescued cocker spaniel passed away in July. He was a handful, but worth every ounce of effort. My border collie and I really miss Larry. We would like to find another cocker. We can provide a lot of fun along with patience and love. Ideally, we'd best suited to a cocker that didn't mind cats and wouldn't bite the grandkids. Larry liked the cats, but he never really got over his urge to bite kids. Consequently, grandson Jack (now 3) knows a lot about dogs. Larry never bit him, but Jack learned to be very respectful.
We live in Juneau, Alaska not too far from a great beach. So if you know of any cockers we could adopt, let us know. Thanks, Beth and Bailey
My Cocker Spaniel is 7 yrs old and has been in several different homes, but always with me. He is out of control and has so many different issues, there is too many to post. I live in Las Vegas, NV and need help badly. I'm afraid I need to get rid of him but I fear his next home my baby will be beaten because he has behavior problems. Can anyone out there help me? I need a good home for him. I can't even leave my house without him barking or scratching at my doors. My neighbors tell me he never shuts up. He barks the entire time I'm gone. I need help. Please.
